Learning about shape in MJF and MBC

We have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes in maths this week. We have looked at real life examples of shape. This is a honey comb. Our class found a shape in here. Can you find a shape?

Middle school inquiry-fitness and brain training.

This is Charlie doing chin-ups on the middle school playground.
This is Shaye hoola hooping.

This is Tess doing a cartwheel on the oval. These were the three activities we did to improve our fitness. It was fun but it made us tired.

This is a puzzle that we had to put together in brain training.
This is a Human brain.

This is Ollie's brain training work. We leant that brain has two sides. Each controls the other side of the body. To keep your brain healthy you need to sleep, wear a helmet, eat right and things like puzzles.

Maths in MJF and MBC

We usually do maths after recess. We have a warm up game to get our minds thinking about maths. Here are some photos of a game called race to 100.
