Information report
In Middle School, we have been writing information reports that require us to find out information about an animal, person or object. 
Some people did their information report on games and places. Others did their information report on famous people and animals. Here are some reports.

Dress Up Day in MBC & MJF
Today students at YPS dressed up in their favourite costumes. The theme was famous TV or movie stars. Our stand out student was Ashley Foot. Well done to everyone who dressed up today.

In MBC & MJF we have been reading the One and Only Ivan. Katherine Applegate wrote it based on a true story Ivan a gorilla.
Rhianyn got into state finals in athletics
That's amazing Rhianyn, she came 3rd out of 50 kids in grade 3!!!

Inqiury in MJF and MBC

Library Time in MBC & MJF
This is Miss Frampton. She loves library time.

An update on the crime scene! MJF and MBC have been focusing on using clues in reading to make inferences and read between the lines. This morning we had a crime scene to solve as our book response in reading. We had to think about all the clues and make up a profile of who we think might be the culprit. The evidence includes a Pepsi max can, a flanellete shirt and a mans shoe. If you think you know who stole our bean bags, please leave a comment!
